Business Analyst

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Connectivity Development team in Gdansk. This full-time, on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge financial technology and electronic trading platforms. As a Business Analyst, you will analyze market API documentation, create clear and actionable documentation for developers, and help standardize functionalities across various market components. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining strong relationships with markets, liquidity providers, and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market API documentation, particularly focused on FIX protocol, and assess how it integrates with our electronic trading platform.
• Write Stories for developers, offering clear explanations and answering questions.
• Help standardize functionality across more than 100 market components.
• Build and maintain relationships with markets, liquidity providers, and other financial institutions.
• Communicate with markets to clarify ambiguities in API documentation and certification processes.
• Collaborate as part of a Scrum Team, sharing your functional expertise to guide development processes.

Must-Have Skills:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in FinTech/Banking or 3+ years of experience in other domains.
• Strong communication skills with English proficiency (B2 or higher).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent writing skills for clear documentation.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with global financial markets, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and derivatives.
• Previous experience with financial technology (FinTech) and electronic trading platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux and ability to work with back-end systems.
